Making a Stone Set Silver Ring - £85 pp

An intermediate level workshop where you will learn silversmithing as you make 2 silver stacking rings and then set one of them with a stone.  In the morning you will learn how to size your rings, soldering, texturing, filing and polishing to create your quality items.  In the afternoon you will select your stone and fit it to a setting you will make or adapt.  You will learn how to make your setting, how to set the stone and file and polish your finished item.  All materials included.  No experience needed.  Free tea, coffee and biscuits.  As this is an all day event please bring a packed lunch.  Please also bring reading glasses and a hair tie if you use them.
