Wood Engraving Workshop

Developed by local lad Thomas Bewick this is a chance to try wood engraving to produce a print. You will learn how to carve an image on a prepared English hardwood block using handmade traditional tools. You will then create a beautiful print using an Edwardian press. Not only do you get to keep the print but you keep the beautiful block you have carved. All materials included. No experience needed. Free tea, coffee and biscuits. Please bring lunch, an apron and reading glasses if you wear them. £85 per person.
